Do you use fragrance oils?
We do not use fragrance oils. Scented products list their essential oils and any botanical extracts on their product pages. Golden Nectar tea lights have the natural aroma of beeswax, with no added fragrance or essential oils.
What wax do you use?
Wax varies by product. Our range includes coconut-apricot wax, beeswax-and-coconut blends, and pure beeswax tea lights. Check the Details dropdown on your chosen product page for its exact wax.
What kind of wick do you use?
Our wooden-wick candles use natural FSC wooden wicks. Golden Nectar beeswax tea lights use cotton wicks. Check the individual product details and follow the care instructions supplied with your candle.
What should I expect from an essential-oil candle?
Pure essential oils create a nuanced botanical scent that unfolds gently as the candle burns. It is designed to settle naturally into your space rather than behave like a heavily perfumed synthetic candle.
How long will my candle burn?
Our 8 oz candles have an approximate burn time of 45–50 hours, and our 8.5 oz candles approximately 50–55 hours. Other sizes have their own burn times listed on their product pages. Actual burn time varies with wick care and burning conditions.
Where are Linden Green Studio candles made?
Every candle is formulated, blended and hand-poured in small batches in Ontario, Canada.
Are all your candles vegan?
No. Beeswax is an animal-derived ingredient, so our beeswax products are not vegan. Wax blends vary across the range; please check the Details dropdown on the individual product page. Finished candles are never tested on animals.
How do I care for a wooden wick?
Before each burn, let the candle cool, remove the loose charred wood and trim the wick to approximately 1/8 inch. Visit Candle Care for the complete guide.

Do you create custom candles for events or gifts?
