Somewhere near Innisfil, on a long summer afternoon, the bees were busy so you wouldn’t have to be.

They drifted from wildflower to wildflower, gathering the season one small trip at a time, and carried it all home to the hive. That summer is still in every one of these tea lights, in their natural golden colour and the soft, honeyed scent that rises as the wax begins to warm.

Now the days are shorter and the light comes in low. But a book lies open, your tea is still warm, and for once, there’s nowhere else you need to be.

Scent Journey

Before it’s lit, there’s only a faint sweetness, like a jar of honey with the lid just loosened.

As the flame takes hold and the wax begins to warm, it opens into honeyed wildflowers: soft, golden and sun-warmed, the way a meadow smells late on a summer afternoon.

Underneath, the quiet, earthy, slightly resinous depth of propolis settles in, the warm hive note only real beeswax carries.

How to Use

Your slow afternoon: put the kettle on, light a Golden Nectar tea light beside your cup and read until your tea goes cold.

Remove the packaging and place each tea light in a heat-resistant holder on a stable surface.
Burn away from drafts, flammable materials, children and pets.
Never leave a burning tea light unattended.
Let the cup and holder cool before handling.
