LINDEN GREEN STUDIO
Save Me a Sweater
Bright, crisp notes give way to warming spice with woods underneath.
The sweater comes out of the back of the closet where it has been folded since April, still smelling faintly of the cedar and the summer it slept through. It's the good one. The one that has gone soft at the elbows and isn't quite the right shape any more, and you'd never replace it.
Save Me a Sweater is Linden Green Studio's ode to the first proper chill of the season — the kind that finally makes reaching for your favourite sweater feel earned. Bright and cold at the start, warm and spiced by the middle, and woody underneath the whole way through. It's the walk where everyone's cheeks go red, and the kitchen you come back into afterwards.
Scent Journey
Bright, crisp notes give way to warming spice with woods underneath.
The first thing you notice is cold air and citrus — sweet orange and bergamot, bright as peel torn open with your thumbnail, with eucalyptus running clean underneath like the air off a wet lawn at seven in the morning. Then the room warms: fresh ginger and cinnamon rising with the heat of the wick, clove behind them dark and dry as a spice drawer left shut all year, star anise curling through with its liquorice sweetness.
Underneath, the woods hold steady — cedarwood and black spruce, resinous and faintly cold, like sap on bark, softened to something creamy by amyris and smoothed at the edges by ho wood. Patchouli settles at the bottom, earthy and a little damp, the smell of leaves turned over. What's left is the sweater itself, pulled out of the closet after a whole summer folded away.
When to Light It
For the first cool afternoon, a rainy weekend, or coming home from a brisk walk.
Light on a crisp afternoon as the light starts to turn gold — the first burn sets the memory ring, so let it pool to the edges of the vessel before blowing out. Trim the wooden wick to 1/4 inch before every light for a clean, crackling burn.
When to Gift It
For an autumn birthday, a host, or the friend who counts down to sweater weather.

Candle Care
First burn
Allow the wax to melt evenly toward the edges of the vessel on the first burn. This helps encourage a clean, even burn throughout the life of your candle and prevents tunneling.
Trim your wooden wick
Before each burn, trim the wooden wick to approximately ⅛–¼ inch, removing any loose or charred wood. A properly trimmed wick helps maintain a calm flame and reduces smoke and soot.
Burn with care
Burn for no more than 3–4 hours at a time. Keep your candle away from drafts, pets, children and anything flammable, and never leave it burning unattended.
Keep the wax clean
Once the candle has cooled, remove any wick debris from the wax before relighting.
A note about natural wax
Temperature changes can sometimes cause coconut-apricot wax to pull slightly away from the glass or change in appearance. This is cosmetic and does not affect the candle’s performance.
