LINDEN GREEN STUDIO
Under the Mistletoe
Fresh Greenery · Soft Florals · Sensual Woods
One doorway, one glance, one second that stretches.
Pure essential oils of Siberian fir, mandarin, black spruce, rose geranium, amyris, juniper berry, ho wood, patchouli, ylang ylang, palmarosa and vetiver
The party has found its rhythm. Coats are piled somewhere nobody will find them until midnight, the music is a little louder than it was an hour ago, and nobody is keeping track of the time.
Somewhere behind the conversation, two people notice where they’re standing. A glance upward. Then back at each other.
It’s the smallest thing: a doorway, a half step, a second that stretches longer than it should. The room carries on without them, and that’s part of it.
Neither moves away. And for one suspended second, they both know what might happen next.
“I made this one for the moments that happen in the middle of everything.”
— Lindsey
Scent Journey
Green arrives first, cool rather than sweet. Siberian fir and black spruce bring the crisp, resinous scent of greenery carried in from the cold, and juniper berry adds a bright, frosty edge. Mandarin glows softly through it all, like Christmas lights through the leaves.
Then it softens. Rose geranium and palmarosa open rosy and gentle, and ylang ylang comes up creamy and heady, turning a wreath into something closer to skin. Ho wood smooths every edge.
Underneath, amyris, patchouli and vetiver settle low, warm and quietly earthy. It’s closer to a perfume than a room scent. Nobody says “nice candle.” They lean in and ask what you’re wearing.
Close. Warm. Electric.
Why You’ll Love It
- A perfume-like blend of fir and soft florals, for anyone who finds Christmas candles too sweet.
- You can smell it before you light it, with a strong cold throw straight from the jar.
- 45–50 hours of slow, even burn.
- The soft crackle of a natural FSC certified wooden wick.
- Pure essential oils only, never synthetic fragrance.
- Hand-poured in small batches in Ontario by one maker, start to finish.
How to Use
Your after-the-party ritual: when the house has emptied and it’s just you, the tree lights and someone else, light it in a smaller room and let the evening stay a little longer.
- On the first burn, let the wax melt fully to the edges, about 3–4 hours.
- Trim the wooden wick to 1/8 inch before each burn.
- Burn no more than 4 hours at a time, and stop when ½ inch of wax remains.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.

FAQ’s
Will I smell it before I light it?
Yes. Each blend is made with a strong cold throw, so you’ll smell it even before it’s lit.
Why does my wick crackle?
That’s the natural wooden wick. It’s meant to sound like a quiet fire.
Why does it cost more than a store-bought candle?
Pure essential oils cost far more than synthetic fragrance, and every candle is hand-poured in small batches.
How do I keep the scent strong?
Keep your candle covered between burns and away from direct sunlight and heat. Essential oils are delicate, and this protects the scent so it fills the room every time you light it.
